A number of football journalists working the EURO 2020 final have provided context to the unrest being caused by England fans in Wembley stadium.
The nation's first appearance at a major international final since 1966, numerous football journalists have described scenes of unruly behaviour happening within Wembley stadium.
While the stadium's organisers initially attempted to downplay reports that England fans had breached the security in place, journalists within the stadium disputed this.
The organisers subsequently admitted that breaches had occurred.
In the area immediately in front of the press box you can see people standing as they don't have seats, and in some cases two people to a seathttps://t.co/hL07fIlGMA

Wembley finally acknowledging there's been a breach of the stadium (hard not to given the number of videos and witnesses): "We are now working closely with stadium stewards and security to remove these people. Anyone inside the stadium without a ticket will be instantly ejected."

The breaches have led to ugly scenes within and around the stadium itself.

Febrile atmosphere at Wembley. This is near the main entrance to Club Wembley a few minutes ago where it looked like a group of fans broke through the security cordon. Stewards currently chasing people around. Not sure they’ll get all the way to the wine and canapés pic.twitter.com/YTIx8eQLz2

Incredible scenes to occur at a major international final, it remains to be seen what the full extent of this incident will reveal.
