Former Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has been filmed grappling with 46-year-old Croatian MMA legend, Mirko Cro Cop.
The Champions League-winning defender left Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool last July and has been playing his football with Zenit Saint Petersburg in Russia.
In a video released via Cro Cop's Facebook page, the World Cup-finalist can be seen engaging his fondness for MMA while rolling around an octagon with the former UFC fighter.
A member of Liverpool's Premier League winning team last season, Lovren found his playing-time reduced and ultimately decided to leave the club.
At 31-years-old, his Zenit Saint Petersburg currently sit four points clear at the top of Russia's Premier League table.
Named in Croatia's squad for upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Slovenia, Cyprus and Malta, Lovren covered his visit to Mirko Cro Cop on his own Instagram account.

Elsewhere, Serbia head coach Dragan Stojkovic has added some spice to the upcoming World Cup qualifiers by saying he "expects" to beat the Republic of Ireland.
With Stephen Kenny's side visiting Belgrade in their opening game on March 24, the former Yugoslavia legend Stojkovic shared his confident outlook.
"Of course, as a serious team and professional staff, we have analysed all opponents, the emphasis is on the Republic of Ireland," he stated. £They are a quality team, and we have to be focused on our game and of course, I expect to win."
The former Red Star Belgrade and Marseille playmaker suggested that others sides in the group will provide a sterner test than Kenny's charges.
"The schedule of matches is not important because you have to play with all opponents," he claimed, "and you have to be ready.
"That is the most important thing. There are no easy matches, no calculations, we have to play with everyone. Who's guaranteeing points against Azerbaijan and Luxembourg? Luxembourg will be the hardest match remember that!"
