Deal or No Deal? | Grealish, Willian, Coutinho - the big PL rumours

On this morning's 'Deal or No Deal' on OTB AM, we took another look at the Premier League transfer rumour mill, and assessed the chances of certain moves happening.

Phil Egan joined Ger and Eoin to walk through some of the very latest mooted deals:

JACK GREALISH TO MAN UNITED - INTEREST COOLED?

Phil says:

"United love a good transfer saga and it always goes down to the wire, and eventually they pay what they were meant to pay earlier in the summer.

"If you could pick one you'd go for [Jadon] Sancho, if you could get two, great. I think the way United are set-up, that 4-2-3-1 formation... I think United could do with somebody in central midfield.

"There's definitely a role in that midfield for somebody like Declan Rice. Villa can obviously ask for huge money for Grealish... they're going to lose their captain, their best player.

Chances of a Jadon Sancho deal: 8/10

Chances of a Jack Grealish deal: 5 or 6/10 (if Sancho signs then it's a 3 or 4)

WILL JESSE LINGARD STAY AT MAN UNITED?

Phil says:

"It hasn't been a good season for him, and he gets a lot of stick. A lot of these players, we don't know what's going on in their personal life with their struggles off the pitch.

"Jesse Lingard is a popular player in the United dressing room... but if United are trying to push on and challenge there's no place for Jesse Lingard in the squad.

"If you'd asked me a few months ago I'd have said he was nailed on to go to Everton but I don't know... maybe a club like Southampton where they have a really good coach in Ralph Hasenhuttl, they've a very definitive style of play, he has high energy.

Chances of Lingard being at United at end of transfer window: Slim

CAN WOLVES KEEP RAÚL JIMÉNEZ?

Corriere dello Sport report that Wolves have put an €80 million price tag on Raúl Jiménez amid interest from Man United and Juventus. He is under contract until 2023.

If Wolves don’t start selling their players, can they become a Champions League side?

Phil says:

"I was disappointed with the way the season finished for Wolves. If they were to keep hold of their players to develop into a better team, they're going to have to start playing a different way."

===

WILL WILLIAN BE A PREMIER LEAGUE PLAYER NEXT SEASON?

Phil says:

"I don't think he'd be as big a loss to Chelsea as previous seasons, look at what they're doing. They have Pulisic, they have Ziyech coming in, Havertz... Timo Werner, all this attacking talent.

"Willian would be a brilliant squad player, but he commands a decent wage."

Chances of Willian playing at Chelsea next season? I think he'll stay - 9/10

IS COUTINHO WORTH A £20 MILLION LOAN FEE?

He's being linked with Arsenal, Spurs, and Leicester...

Phil says:

"I think you could see him back in the Premier League - his confidence is definitely not what it was when he left Liverpool to join Barcelona.

"He needs to get his career back on track. It's quite sad to see a player who was so good now kind of moping around and not really getting the chances at the big clubs that he had hoped for.

Chances of Coutinho playing in the Premier League again: 8.5/10
