Cork's Caoimhín Kelleher is part of Liverpool's 23-man squad for tomorrow's Champions League final against Tottenham.
The Republic of Ireland under-21 goalkeeper will be on the bench for the game at Madrid’s Estadio Metropolitano where he'll be the third choice to Alisson and Simon Mignolet.
The 20-year-old was an unused sub in the Red's semi-final second-leg win over Barcelona and he featured three times in pre-season last summer.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp praised Kelleher after last August's game against Napoli at Dublin's Aviva Stadium.
“He is very cool with the ball. He has fantastic reactions. If nothing serious happens, he has a really fantastic future. I like him a lot and I’m happy that we have him in our squad.”
After the final Kelleher will link up with Stephen Kenny's Republic of Ireland under-21 squad for the Toulon Tournament ahead of their opening game against China next week.
Naby Keita will miss the game through injury though Brazilian attacker Roberto Firmino has made the trip to Spain and is expected to start in attack tomorrow night.
Teenage striker Rhian Brewster has also been included in the squad.
Liverpool squad: Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, Brewster, Fabinho, Firmino, Gomez, Henderson, Kelleher, Lallana, Lovren, Mane, Matip, Mignolet, Milner, Moreno, Origi, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Robertson, Salah, Shaqiri, Sturridge, Van Dijk, Wijnaldum.
