WATCH: Claudio Bravo performs world-class #StayAtHome save

There are countless methods to maintain fitness and fun during the COVID-19 pandemic, as demonstrated by Manchester City goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo.

The Chile international and City number two shared a series of short but entertaining videos with his 6.2 million Instagram followers.

Using his training equipment in his back garden at home, Bravo, standing with his back to goal and at least five yards from it, threw a football against a coiled-spring cage before rotating sharply, jumping mid-air and clawing the ball away to safety the instant before it nestled into the net.

He also treated his audience to an illustration of his skilful juggling talents by utilising that same coiled-spring cage, showing off his considerable acumen with three footballs.

Unquestionably it was an impressive effort by the recently-turned 37-year-old.

Bravo joined Manchester City from Barcelona in 2016, acting as a direct replacement to the discarded Joe Hart, who was deemed surplus to requirements by Pep Guardiola when the Camp Nou legend was appointed manager at the Etihad that summer.

However, Bravo endured a poor debut season in the Premier League and lost his place as the City number one when the Brazilian Ederson was recruited in the summer of 2017 from Portuguese giants, Benfica.

The Chilean has enjoyed a distinguished career, winning a brace of Copa Américas and earning 123 caps for his country and, in just two years, won two La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey cups, the 2014/15 Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the 2015 FIFA Club World Cup with Barcelona.

Additionally, Bravo has won the domestic treble in England with Man City.

Bravo moved to Barcelona in 2014 following eight successful years at Real Sociedad where he won the Segunda División in 2010. He started his senior club career in 2002 with Colo-Colo in his native Chile.

The veteran goalkeeper is far from the only high-profile footballer to use his residence as an impromptu training field during the worldwide spread of COVID-19.

Bravo's fellow shot-stepper Alisson Becker has been captured launching a football with incredible accuracy in his home.

Meanwhile, further up the pitch, Watford defender Christian Kabasele demonstrated his no-nonsense style in his back garden, Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Harry Winks found a creative way to make tea, while Brazilian superstar Neymar Jr. is staying healthy by training with his two dogs.

Creativity is blossoming among footballers during #StayAtHome.
