WATCH: NFL player Antonio Brown abandons Tom Brady's team mid-game

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Antonio Brown walked off the field against the New York Jets.

Antonio Brown has a long track record of problems in the NFL.

His most recent issue arose when he used a fake vaccine certificate and was suspended. Brown's past troubles include fighting with teammates, arguing with head coaches publicly and demanding trades. Those are the sport-related incidents he has had, but he's also had some very notable off-field incidents.

Despite his constant problems, NFL teams have taken him on board because of his talent. Brown is one of the best wide receivers to play in the NFL over the last 10 years.

He initially established himself with the Pittsburgh Steelers before a spat with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger saw him depart. He moved to the Las Vegas Raiders, but fought with Jon Gruden and never played a game for them. Tom Brady recruited Brown to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and allowed him to stay in his house.

Brady desperately wanted to keep Brown on the roster. He did so until this week.

Abruptly during a game the Buccaneers were losing, Brown took his jersey off and walked off the field. He applauded the crowd as he went up the tunnel. Brown was reportedly benched and reacted poorly.

Teammate Mike Evans attempted to keep him on the sideline, but not with any great effort. Evans' actions suggest it's not the first time he's dealt with Brown's immaturity. He quickly moved away from his teammate once he saw that he was going to persist with his tantrum.

Brown will likely be released from the Buccaneers now, which is a big blow to Tom Brady's offence.

The Buccaneers are already without their best receiver, Chris Godwin. He tore his ACL two weeks ago, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.
