The Kick Off: Tiernan McCann set to play against Kerry

GAELIC FOOTBALL

Tiernan McCann's eight week ban has been lifted meaning the Tyrone man is free to face Kerry this Sunday in the All Ireland semi final.

McCann travelled to Croke Park last night ahead of this weekend's All Ireland semi final with Kerry to appeal his ban.

There was also good news for Mayo who had defender Kevin Keane's red card against Donegal overturned meaning he can face Dublin on Sunday week.
