UCD are through to the next round of the Europa League qualifiers. But it was a disappointing night for Cork City and St Pat's.
A 10-man UCD side advanced to a second round qualifier against Slovan Bratislava of Slovakia after an away-goals win in Luxembourg.
Despite playing with a man less for over an hour, the Students held out against their hosts, Dudelange.
After taking the lead, Aaron Callaghan's side were beaten 2-1 in the second-leg, but withstood a second-half onslaught to reach the next round by virtue of their 1-0 first-leg win in Belfield.
Cork City were beaten in extra-time as they allowed a winning position to slip against their hosts, KR Reykjavik.
Mark O'Sullivan's deflected strike gave Cork the lead and put them into a 2-1 lead in Iceland.
The Leesiders received a further boost before half-time when Reykjavik were reduced to 10 men.
But home side forced the match into extra-time with a 75th minute strike before then taking advantage of shambolic Cork defending in extra-time to claim a 2-1 win on the night and a 3-2 aggregate victory.
There was also disappointment for St Pat's tonight.
Liam Buckley's side slumped to a 2-0 defeat at Richmond Park, which saw them crash-out 4-1 on aggregate against Skonto Riga of Lativa.
GAA
The Dublin and Limerick hurling teams have both been named ahead of this Saturday's All-Ireland qualifier in Thurles.
Dublin have named the same XV that started their first round qualifier win over Laois last weekend, which means that goalscorer, David 'Dotsy' O'Callaghan remains on the bench.
But Limerick have been boosted by the return of both Declan Hannon and Seamus Hickey to their side from last Sunday's victory over Westmeath.
Hickey lines-out at corner-back while Hannon starts at centre-forward with Tom Condon and Seanie Tobin the two players to make way.
Meanwhile, Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has made two enforced changes to his side ahead of their qualifier against Meath in Omagh this Saturday.
Goalkeeper Niall Morgan replaces Michael O'Neill between the posts, while Joe McMahon starts at centre-back instead of his brother Justin.
Elsewhere, the Galway footballers have also selected their side ahead of their qualifier clash with Armagh on Sunday.
Brian O'Donoghue takes over from Manus Breathnach in goal while Gareth Bradshaw replaces Patrick Sweeney at wing-back.
There's also a change in the attack that started their Connacht semi-final defeat to Mayo as Peadar Og O'Griofa starts at corner-forward instead of Danny Cummins.
