Paul Kimmage landed in to discuss the response to his recent articles on the phenomenon of doping in rugby. Kimmage said he anticipated a response after his initial column on the topic was published a couple of weeks ago. The silence his column was met with surprised him but also convinced him he was on to something.
The pair also examined the furore that followed on from Stephen Hunt's column contrasting the life of a professional footballer in England to that of a GAA player.
Both agreed the response from the GAA community was excessively pious. Malachy made his feelings plain, saying 'This is rubbish... When I shuffle off this mortal coil and find myself on the other side, I will know that I have landed in hell when the first people I meet are two fellas arguing over whether their sport is better than the other guy's sport.'
They also discuss the relative lack of interest in Robbie Keane's achievements in the MLS.
