Former Republic of Ireland International Stephen Quinn dropped in for a chat on the Football Show on Off The Ball where he gave an insight into living with a frontline nurse.
Quinn admits to being a home bird although now he is home a lot more than usual, with football locked down due to the coronavirus.
"I wasn’t home as much as I am not obviously, it is a shock to the system but hats off to the missus for juggling work and the kids. I am a big family man.
"I’m based in Sheffield and commute to Burton and I commuted to Hull as well. When I was at Reading the family moved down there."

The Covid-19 crisis has closely affected the Quinn family as Stephen's wife is a nurse with the NHS.
"My wife is a nurse and she’s since been put on a Covid ward. It is not her normal line of work but she has since been asked to go into it. That is a bit stressful and a bit worrying at this moment in time.
"She does two long days a week, it is a natural progression for her, she has just taken it on the chin and cracked on with it really."
She’s just rolled her sleeves up
Despite the risks to the family, Quinn says she takes every precaution to maintain family life where possible. He hopes she won't have to isolate from the rest of the family
"No, she just gets home and cleans up away from us and the kids first. At the moment she doesn’t have to but if she does eventually have to do that (isolate from the family), I think she’d step aside from it because the kids are so young.
"She has just rolled her sleeves up and, to be honest, the job they do - I’m baffled by it. I fire questions at her when she gets home.
Quinn is impressed with the job the front line workers have been doing and is happy they are finally getting recognition for the difficult job they do: "It’s a massive pandemic and I’m just trying to fish some information out of her.
"The nurses they are just so natural, they just get on with it really, I’m so glad they now get the credit they deserve."
Quinn clearly doesn't have what is required to do the job his spouse does, he was blunt when asked about his concerns:
"Shitting it really, to be honest, shitting it, but she has calmed the whole situation down so it’s just everyday stuff. She says they have got loads of PPE and training. They seem to think they have enough equipment.
"Whereas I just stress and hope they stay safe."
