Shaunae Miller used every inch of her long frame last night as she dived over the line to claim the women's 400m gold medal in Rio.
She edged out American world champion Allyson Felix to win in 49.44 seconds, just seven hundredths of a second faster than the 30-year-old.
"The only thing I was thinking was the gold medal, and the next thing I know, I was on the ground," Miller said after the race. "It was just a reaction. I've never done it before. I have cuts and bruises, a few burns."

She added: "I don't know what happened. My mind just went blank. I heard my mom screaming. When I heard her screaming, I was like, 'OK, I had to have won the race'.
Elsewhere, David Rudisha hung onto his Olympic 800m title, beating compatriot Alfred Kipketer.
The 27-year-old Kenyan finished in a time of one minute 42:15, ahead of Algeria's Taoufik Makhloufi who took silver and Clayton Murphy who produced a strong finish to come third.
America's breakthrough star of these Olympic Games, Simone Biles, had to settle for a bronze medal as she was beaten in the individual balance beam competition.
The 19-year-old was in search of a historic fifth Olympic gold medal, but was beaten by Sanne Wevers of the Netherlands. Biles compatriot, 16-year-old Laurie Hernandez, also finished ahead of her on the podium.
Biles, who has won all-around, vault and team gold medals at at this year's Olympic Games, competes in the floor final on Tuesday.

Finally this morning, Scott Evans is out of the Rio Games after a defeat to Viktor Axelsen.
The Dane beat the Irishman in their last-16 men's badminton clash.
Axelsen had the edge in the first game, eventually winning 21-16 and he was further ahead in the second with a final game victory of 21-12.
