SOCCER

Several top FIFA officials, including Vice President Jeffrey Webb have been arrested in Switzerland on corruption charges, according to reports.

Swiss police - at the request of U.S. authorities - detained six officials in an early-morning operation in Zurich on suspicion of receiving and paying millions of dollars in bribes.

More than a dozen plain-clothed officers arrived unannounced at a hotel.

Reigning champions Sevilla and Dnipro contest this season's Europa League Final later tonight in Warsaw.

The winner earns a place in the Champions League next season.

HURLING

Brian Murphy is back in the Cork panel ahead of their Munster Championship opener against Waterford on Sunday week.
