SOCCER

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger wants to use last night's 2-0 win in Monaco as a positive to build on for the rest of the season.

Goals from Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey gave the Gunners the win in their Champions League last-16 second leg, but they went out on away goals.

Manchester City have a big task ahead of them tonight, as they aim for a place in the quarter-finals.

They're 2-1 down on aggregate going into the second leg of their tie with Barcelona in Cataluna.

Celtic and Dundee United clash for the third game in succession tonight - it's a Scottish Cup quarter-final replay.

The original tie finished 1-1, while the Glasgow side won Sunday's Scottish League Cup final between the teams.

The winner faces Inverness at Hampden Park next month.

Henry Shefflin says he will decide on his inter-county future "very quickly".

Yesterday, Shefflin won a third All-Ireland club title with Ballyhale Shamrocks - the club's sixth in total - with a 1-18 to 1-6 win over Kilmallock.

GAELIC FOOTBALL

Meanwhile, Corofin are All-Ireland football champions for the second time in their history.

Tonight in the Eirgrid Under-21 Football Championship there ars semi-finals in three provinces.

Cork host Kerry in Páirc Uí Rinn, while Tipperary meet Clare in Semple Stadium

In Leinster, Longford face Dublin in Navan, and Meath take on Kildare on Portlaoise.

The first of the week's Connacht semi-finals sees Roscommon face Sligo in Kiltoom.

All of those games throw-in at 7.30, while there are 8 o'clock starts to all four Ulster Under-21 quarter-finals.

Tyrone face Fermanagh, Armagh take on Antrim, Donegal are up against Cavan, while Inniskeen hosts the meeting of Monaghan and Derry.
