Paul Murphy has been handed the full-back position by Kilkenny manager Brian Cody for tomorrow's Allianz NHL opener with Cork in Páirc Uí Rinn.

Cork manager Jimmy Barry-Murphy has included captain and goalkeeper Anthony Nash, while Aidan Walsh joins Mark Ellis and Cormac Murphy in the half-back line.
Meanwhile, as expected, Kilmallock's Gavin O'Mahony has been named in a strong-looking Limerick side to face Waterford at the Gaelic Grounds tomorrow.
O'Mahony starts at centre forward with minor star from the last two years Cian Lynch beside him on the wing.

The Sigerson Cup semi-final line-up will be completed this afternoon.
UCC will host IT Sligo at the Mardyke in the remaining quarter-final with the winner advancing to a last-four meeting against IT Carlow.
RUGBY
The Ireland squad are going through their final preparations for tomorrow's Six Nations clash with France.
Joe Schmidt's side will hold their traditional Captain's Run at the Aviva Stadium this morning ahead of the game.

The Ireland Women and Under-20s sides will be looking to continue their winning start to the Championship.
The Under-20's host their French counterparts at Dubarry Park from 7.05pm.
The Women's team also have home advantage in Ashbourne from 7.30pm.

Michael Hoey is three shots of the lead at the Thailand Classic this morning.
The Ulsterman is 8-under after one hole and is three behind new leader Miguel Angel Jiménez who is 11-under following a 66.
Damien McGrane had a great second round and is 3-under following a 5-under 67.

Pádraig Harrington and Shane Lowry both made encouraging starts to their challenge at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am last night.
Harrington carded a 4-under par 68, while Lowry is just another shot further back in California.
Justin Hicks and JB Holmes are tied for the lead on 8-under.
