Irish badminton's Scott Evans and Chloe Magee have officially qualified for Rio, the Olympic Council of Ireland announced this afternoon.
The Badminton World Federation and the Olympic Sports Council of Ireland confirmed both athletes secured their Olympic Qualification place after accruing sufficient points.
Evans qualified for the men's singles in the 29th spot (of 36), while Evans got through in 34th spot (of 37).
