"I did have dreams of us all decamping to Marseille" - Off the Ball on our Euro 2016 chances

Following a disappointing result at the weekend, Off the Ball discussed what the future was like for Irish football, particularly our chances for Euro 2016.

Presenter Joe Molloy along with Colm Parkinson and Cian Murtagh took a look back at the match over the weekend and what Ireland's chances are like for Euro 2016. Let's just say they're not that hopeful.

Joe discussed how a source claimed that along with the fact that the team was announced late, the players were unsure of the formation and hadn't really trained for this outcome.

On the actual game, Wooly commented: "We had to win, we're at home.

"We were always going to start well. It's the fact that Ireland seem to start well, not get far enough ahead, always fizzle out when you need to get a goal."

They also pointed to the issue of consistency over the last 18 months and questioned what exactly is Ireland's style of play.
