Welcome to Off The Wall, the Game of Thrones podcast from Off The Ball as we break down Episode 6 of Season 8 - 'The Bells'.
Andy Lee joins Eoin and Tommy to reflect on the penultimate episode of the Game of Thrones saga and to say the studio is rattled is an understatement.
Here is your customary SPOILER alert. DO NOT WATCH - if you haven't seen the episode, do not proceed with our Game of Thrones breakdown.
'The Bells' took a shocking turn as some of our favourite characters were killed off and, worst of all, Daenerys turned to the dark side to become the 'Queen of the Ashes'.
Varys, the Clegane Bros, the incestuous Lannister twins, Euron, and Qyburn all went to meet their maker as the Game of Thrones writers let rip - and that was before the 'Breaker of Chains' lost the rag and melted half her soon-to-be-subjects to death.
Daenarys finally descended upon Kings Landing - wiping out the Iron Fleet and all of Qyburn's scorpions in a hail of fire and fury. The Golden Company's long-awaited battle appearance lasted a mere seconds as Drogon laid waste to Essos' mercenary company with little resistance. And, as the Targaryan army breached the castle walls and decimated the Lannister forces on the ground - the bells rang out to signal the city's surrender.
In that moment, Daenarys Targaryan had finally conquered the capital of Westeros and regained her family's throne.
Andy Lee described what happened next: "Carnage! Like the amount of innocent people - you think they're not going to kill a child but when it comes to Game of Thrones, they're always going to kill a child - children and women. It was horrific. It really was shocking.
"I kind of spoiled it for myself because I had read a few leaks and it turns out they were right so I could guess what was coming. But, even then, watching it unfold - it was carnage.
"I actually thought it was a great episode...it's dark. It's very dark but obviously I have a couple of gripes about it but I can see past them because I know they have to wind this story up and tactically - it's what she should have done all along, in terms of Daenerys going down there and taking them out and showing her power. It just showed what she should have done all along."
