With just three more sleeps until the beginning of Ireland’s Guinness Autumn Series, we’re in full preview mode ahead of Ireland v South Africa. Cian Healy joins us in studio this evening for a chat about his evolution as a loosehead, his freak injury and how he’s recovering.
Gerry Thornley and Liam Toland will also be joining us for Wednesday Night Rugby as we dissect the South Africa line-up and cast an eye over what they’re expecting from Joe Schmidt’s team announcement tomorrow.
The rugby guest list doesn’t end there, though, as we’ll also also hear from Tommy Bowe and get his views on the backs-orientated Springboks that we’ve become accustomed to watching this year.
Breaking up the rugby and soccer tonight, we’ll be talking to Cork intermediate hurler, Jamie Wall, about the rare spinal injury that he suffered last year, limiting him to a wheelchair. His inspirational story will be told in full tonight as well as information about next week’s Lifestyle Sports ‘Run in the Dark,’ of which Jamie is a supporter.
Emmet Malone will be in studio for the Football Show this evening as we keep you up to date on the Champions League action as it happens. We’ll also be discussing the reception that Ireland’s Scottish-born players will experience when they go to Glasgow next week.
