Hosting all grades of All-Ireland finals on the one day has proved to be a fruitful project for both codes of Ladies Gaelic Games. And the 2015 installment of camogie finals look set to be another intriguing event.
Senior: Cork v Galway, 4.00pm
Despite shipping a raft of retirements, the Cork team have regenerated and reinvented their charges accordingly to get themselves back to Croke Park in a bid to defend their title. Among the absentees include, Jenny O'Leary, Anna Geary and Joanne O'Callaghan and yet still managed to reclaim a place in the final. Meanwhile Galway head into this match hoping to recreate the magic of 2013 when Galway won the Senior and Intermediate All-Ireland finals. Galway capitulated against Kilkenny in last year's semi-final who incidentally Cork defeated at the same stage this year. Galway have beaten Cork on the last two occasion both sides met in the final.
Intermediate: Waterford v Kildare, 2.00pm
Kildare, now in their second year as an Intermediate standard team, face a much fancied Waterford today side. These sides are no strangers to each other having already met in the group stages and in the Division Two League Final in which Waterford prevailed on both occasions. A number of key Lilly White players to look out for include Susie O'Carroll, Emer Reilly and Carol Nolan.
Junior: Roscommon v Laois, 12.00pm
Laois head into this game with nothing but redemption on the brain. They have been undone in the last two finals, falling to Kildare in 2013 and Down last year. The midlanders will be looking to the dominance of Sarah Ann Fitzgerald and Louise Mahony for the win this year along with the assistance of Niamh Dollard, Laura Marie Maher and Eimear Delaney. Roscommon's progression as an emerging force in camogie is now starting to produce dividends. This is their first attempt at an All-Ireland title and considering the manner in which they executed a four point win against Dublin, they have little to fear approaching this game. Kelly Hopkins from Athleague will be hoping to recreate her form from the semi-final where she recorded seven points.
