According to reports, Paul Scholes is about to become the latest ex-Manchester United player to go into management.
Oldham Athletic who are down in League 2 are the destination. But pitfalls await at a club going through tough times.
United We Stand fanzine editor Andy Mitten joined us and he discussed the situation.
"Paul's told me that he wanted to go into management," said Mitten.
Basket case
"He's told me that pretty consistently over the last year. He lives in Oldham and he's going to stay living in Oldham. The problem with Oldham is it's a bit of a basket case of a club.
"It's not a stable club. You had the owner who stepped down just over a year ago. You've got a new owner coming in who's brought a lot of predominantly French players in.
"There's a pretty strong hardcore of about 4,000 people, way down from the Premier League days when they were getting 14,000. But Scholes fancies being in management."
Mitten also talked about the history of his fanzine as it turns 30. And he also talked about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's prospects of getting the Manchester United job full-time.
