Aaron Rodgers has revealed he consulted former Fear Factor host Joe Rogan after testing positive for COVID-19.
The Green Bay Packers quarter-back will miss this weekend's game with the Kansas City Chiefs after his positive diagnosis was made public earlier this week.
Rodgers had claimed to be "immunised" earlier this year, but it transpires the 37-year old sentient adult was relying on the protection of homeopathic treatment.
Now he's claimed to be a victim of the "woke mob".
Rodgers filled his bingo card of right-wing buzzwords during a self-pitying appearance on the Pat McAfee Show on Friday.
He even went so far as to compare his 'plight' with that of slain civil rights activist Dr. Martin Luther King. "As an aside, the great MLK said, you have a moral obligation to object to unjust rules and rules that make no sense," he told McAfee.
The host could barely contain his laughter, however, when Rodgers admitted his medical "research" extended as far as n̶o̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶i̶m̶m̶u̶n̶o̶l̶o̶g̶i̶s̶t̶ ̶ podcast host, Rogan.
"This shaming, cancel society, that is wrong," Rodgers said, filling out that bingo card still further, "I made a choice that was in my best interest.

"You might respect it, you might hate it. But I bet you the people that hate are the same people that are really going to hate the fact that I’m 48 hours in and I consulted with a now-good friend of mine, Joe Rogan, after he got COVID and I’ve been doing a lot of the stuff he recommended in his podcasts and on the phone to me.
“I’m going to have the best immunity possible now.
Rodgers added, "I’m thankful for people like Joe stepping up and using their voice, I’m thankful for my medical squad and I’m thankful for all the love and support I’ve gotten.
"But I’ve been taking monoclonal antibodies, ivermectin, zinc, vitamin C and D and HEQ, and I feel pretty incredible.”
