Tottenham have moved back to within four points of Premier League leaders Chelsea after a hard fought 1-0 win away at Crystal Palace.
Palace had beaten Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool in recent weeks as Sam Allardyce's side move clear of the relegation zone.
And they made Spurs work hard for all three points at Selhurst Park.
In the end, Christian Eriksen's excellent and precise low strike from long range settled the match in Tottenham's favour as they stay within four points of Chelsea with five rounds of fixtures to go for both teams.
Meanwhile, Arsenal kept in contention for the Top Four places after a 1-0 home win over Leicester City following a Robert Huth own goal after a Nacho Monreal effort.
Arsenal are now four points behind fourth placed Manchester City who face Manchester United in the derby on Thursday.
United are three points above Arsenal ahead of Thursday's match.
Liverpool are just two points clear of City in third.
Meanwhile, Middlesbrough secured a rare victory as they saw off Sunderland 1-0 in a North East derby at the Riverside Stadium.
The defeat for Sunderland keeps the away side bottom of the table, 12 points adrift of safety while Boro stay 19th but are six points from 17th place.
