Thierry Henry sets out the upcoming challenge for Arsene Wenger

Thierry Henry believes Arsene Wenger's main task now is to show that his team can replicate their form in the FA Cup final across a 38 game season.

Wenger has signed a two year deal to remain in charge of Arsenal and extend what has already been a 21 year reign at the club.

He finished the last season by leading Arsenal to victory over Chelsea in the FA Cup final with a strong performance that provided a contrast to a league season which saw a fifth place finish end a 21 year run of Top Four places during Wenger's tenure.

Henry won two Premier League titles, three FA Cups and reached a Champions League final during his time in Wenger's squad between 1999 and 2007 and spoke to Sky Sports News about what the Gunners need to do now to return to the glory days of his era.

"They finished the season strong, although they have done that before. Raising yourself for the FA Cup final, to beat one team on one day is one thing. To do it over 38 games is a different story," said Henry.

"Everyone is waiting for the title; the club, the players, the fans and Arsene himself.

"That's what I want to see because raising your game for one day is one thing, but everybody is waiting for that to be done over 38 games."
