CJ Stander was moved from flanker to number eight at short notice before Ireland's match against England at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday but felt it was team effort that brought the improvement since the loss to Wales last week.
Speaking to Newstalksport's Oisin Langan on the step up from last week's loss, he said: "It's small margins. Down in Wales we made a lot of small mistakes and just gave them a lot of opportunites to get into our 22 and get points out of it and today the ball was a bit wet but everyone stepped up to the plate and we tried to control the game as a group and not just leaving it out for Johnny and Marms.

Referring to Peter O'Mahony's performance who replaced Jamie Heaslip just before kick-off, he said: He was unbelievable. He's the type of guy you can throw anything at and he's going to attack it at full pace. He's got a lot of passion for that jersey and he works hard.
"I know what it means for him - he's been working hard to get into the team and he got his chance and took it with both hands and I'm delighted for him. He's one of the guys in the team that's a leader and he workds hard to get into his position."
