Widely acknowledged as one of Ireland's best loved sportspeople, Shane Lowry went the extra mile for fans in Arizona this weekend by handing out cans of Guinness on what is referred to as "loudest hole in golf".
The Offaly native teed it up at the 16th hole at the Phoenix Open and carded a wonderful third round of 66 to leave him just six shots off leader Byeong Hun An. So, naturally, he was in good spirits.
Captured on the PGA Tour's official Snapchat story, Lowry is scene dishing out cans of Guinness all the way from Ireland and enjoying himself up close and personal with golf fans.

Lowry, who who last year married his long time partner Wendy Honner in New York, is adored by many Irish sports fans because of his relaxed demeanor and how he has remained so grounded in the wake of successes over the last 18 months.
Glad you enjoyed it. There will be more where that came from tomorrow. https://t.co/xLsxMgPXi6
