Waterford golfer Seamus Power has made a strong start at the Valspar Championship in Florida.
The 2016 Olympian carded a 66 on his opening round to end the day on 5-under par.
An eagle-3 at the 14th was the highlight of his round.
That eagle was boosted by birdies on the 5th, 9th, 11th, 15th and 18th holes.
However bogeys on the 3rd and 16th means he remains four off the lead.
That is held by USA's Jim Herman on 9-under who is two shots clear of the field.

He carded a bogey free 62.
Sweden's Henrik Stenson and USA's Russell Henley are both on 7-under.
James Hahn is on 6-under, one ahead of Power who occupies outright 5th overall.
It wasn't as positive a day for Graeme McDowell, who is currently 1-over par through 14.
