Robbie Henshaw returns to Leinster team for Guinness PRO12 semi-final

Robbie Henshaw has recovered from injury to take his place in Leinster's starting XV to face Scarlets on Friday night.

Leo Cullen's side bid to book their place in the Guinness PRO12 final when they welcome the Welsh side to the RDS.

The Leinster head coach has the luxury of recalling players who missed out on their clash with Ulster in their final round of games.

Returning Henshaw will partner Garry Ringrose in the centre and the latter will no doubt be looking to impress after Warren Gatland's comments earlier this week. The Lions head coach said that Ringrose could consider himself "unlucky" to miss out on a place on the panel, but that he may find himself in a position for a late call-up.

Isa Nacewa wins his 170th cap to play on the left wing, while youngster Adam Byrne will line out on the right. Joey Carbery is selected at full back.

Jonathan Sexton is included in the starting XV, while Luke McGrath, winning his 75th cap, lines out beside him to complete the half back line.

Jack McGrath and Tadhg Furlong are selected at loose head and tight head prop with James Tracy at hooker.

Hayden Triggs starts his final game in the RDS alongside Ross Molony in the second row.

Rhys Ruddock and Josh van der Flier are selected on the flanks with Jack Conan at number eight.

On the bench, Cullen can call on the experience of Sean O'Brien, Cian Helay and Devin Toner.
