Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has inadvertently suggested his own club aren't "a big club" after he wasn't sacked following his less than impressive first season at the Etihad.
The Spaniard arrived with a huge reputation having won the German Bundesliga for three consecutive seasons. He also led Barcelona to three La Liga titles as well as two Champions League successes during his spell there.
However, despite winning his first six Premier League matches with his new side - the much-anticipated title challenge never really materialised as Chelsea and Tottenham battled for the trophy down the stretch.
Such has been the mediocrity of Guardiola's first season in England that City are yet to even secure Champions League football for the 2017/18 campaign.
They also crashed out of the Europe's top competition at the last 16 stage against surprise package Monaco, as well as losing to Arsenal in the FA Cup semi-final.

Speaking at a press conference earlier on Monday, he said he would have been sacked at a "big club" like Barcelona or Bayern Munich.
"Here they gave me a second chance and we will try to do it,” he said. “In my situation at a big club I’m sacked. I’m out. Sure. Definitely.
"At the clubs I worked at before I am not here but here we have a second chance and we will try to do it better than this season."
City entertain West Brom on Tuesday before heading to Watford on the final day of the season.
