Paul Dunne returns to action in Morocco

Paul Dunne will return to the course this afternoon as he prepares for his first European Tour event in more than a month.

The Greystones golfer heads for sunny climes as he contests the Trophée Hassan Deux in Morocco. Dunne has secured to top-25 finishes in two of his last three outings and finished in the top 10 at the Tshwane Open at the beginning of March.

A disappointing second round at the Hero Indian Open saw Dunne miss the cut and he hasn't competed on the tour since.

He tees off at 1.10pm this afternoon, while Michael Hoey - the 2012 winner - heads out at 9am.

Across the pond, Shane Lowry and Graeme McDowell are both in action on the first day of the RBC Heritage in South Carolina.

Lowry will be looking to recover from missing the cut at the Masters last week.

Branden Grace is the defending champion at Hilton Head - he'll be playing alongside Adam Hadwin and Marc Leishman.

The South African finished two strokes ahead of Luke Donald and Russell Knox to claim his first PGA Tour title, a win which he said at the time was the 'biggest of his career'.

Returning to the course, Grace says the course was in better condition than it has been during previous visits.

"The golf course is in great condition," he said. "There are birdies out there to be made. You still have to do it, though. It's one of those golf courses that just depends on how the guys are playing it."

He tees off this evening 5.50pm Irish time.
