Munster Player Ratings

Saracens overpowered Munster at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday 26-10 to advance to the Champions Cup final in Edinburgh.

We rate Rassie Erasmus's side:

Simon Zebo - 7

Solid under the high ball and plucked one out of the air under huge pressure on the 26th minute mark. Quiet second half as Munster struggled for possession.

Andrew Conway - 7

Chased Williams' box kicks all day long and went low on the Vunipolas when necessary in the first half. Like Zebo, didn't get much second half ball.

Jaco Taute - 6

Carried powerfully but often met two tacklers every time he tried to get over the gain line. Replaced by Saili in the second half.

Rory Scannell - 6

Quiet throughout but did little wrong. Struggled to make an impact against the Sarries' midfield.

Keith Earls - 6

Quiet display all round but again, did little wrong.

Tyler Bleyendaal - 6

Effortless display in the first half despite getting caught once with an ankle tap by Farrell. Struggled to make an impact in the second half and missed a kick at goal he should have got when Munster really needed points.

Duncan Williams - 6

Pin-point box kicks in the opening half but couldn't keep the consistency going as the match progressed. Kept the fringe defence guessing.

Dave Kilcoyne - 6

Made his presence felt around the field. Part of a solid set-piece display in the opening half.

Niall Scannell - 7

Scrummaged well and threw into the line-out effectively despite being under severe pressure from defensive jumpers.

John Ryan - 7

Met the Saracens' scrum challenge head on - won some, lost some.

Donnacha Ryan - 7

Kept going in the face of relentless pressure from the Saracens' pack.

Billy Holland - 8

Industrious display from the lock and took over the captaincy once O'Mahony went off.

Peter O'Mahony - 7

Led by example. Rugged display around the park and excellent in the line-out until he was forced off through injury.

Tommy O'Donnell - 7

A nuisance around the field. Gave away a needless penalty though to get Sarries on the board. Had emptied the tank before being replaced.

CJ Stander - 8

Good early hit on Farrell set the tone for the day. Tackled, carried and ran whenever he could. Kept going until the end. Scored late on.

Bench - 6

Failed to make the impact needed as a relentless Saracens team pummeled Munster in the second half.
