Mo Farah has reiterated his innocence after reports stated his coach Alberto Salazar was accused of using prohibited drug infusions.
The Sunday Times state that the American coach, who has been by Farah's side in his four Olympic triumphs, used L-carnitine drips which a USADA report states "almost certainly" broke anti-doping rules
The USADA report, which was seen by the newspapers, claims there is "substantial and compelling evidence" that Salazar and Dr. Jeffrey Brown, "conspired to collude together" to use medications in a potentially unlawful way to boost their athlete's performances.
Farah released a statement on Sunday afternoon, claiming it was "deeply frustrating" to speak about the subject.
"I am a clean athlete who has never broken the rules in regards to substances, methods or dosages and it is upsetting that some parts of the media, despite the clear facts, continue to try to associate me with allegations of drug misuse", Farah claimed.
At no point did he mention Salazar, and is still trained by the American.
