All Black winger Nehe Milner-Skudder has fractued his foot playing in his second game back in Super Rugby at the weekend.
The speedy winger missed most of the 2016 season with a shoulder injury. He had built up his fitness over the Christmas period with a view to peaking for the Lions series this summer.
However this latest set-back will come as a huge blow to the New Zealand management as they prepare to welcome the touring side in a few months time.

Speaking about his latest injury, Milner-Skudder said: It’s disappointing, but these things happen in rugby, all I can do is focus on the rehab and making sure I do everything right to get back on the field. The encouraging thing is the medical staff don't believe there will be any long term issues. It was just a freak accident.”
The former world breakthrough player of the year is expected to be out for up to six weeks.
