Scottish champions Celtic need two more wins to retain their league title and head to Dens Park to face Dundee on Sunday.
Speaking to the club's official website, Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor said: “We just need to focus on ourselves, we need to prepare for the game and try to get a good result, regardless of what happens elsewhere. It’s our job to focus on winning our game on Sunday."
The Hoops go into the game on the back of a 1-1 draw against Rangers at Celtic Park last weekend, and while it was a match that the home side deserved to win, McGregor explained that any disappointment at conceding a late equaliser is long gone.
“It’s been good in training this week. It was a draw and we were obviously disappointed, They celebrated like they’d won it. We just focus on the positives. It’s another game unbeaten and another point closer to winning the league.
“To win the league in March would be a great achievement. Everybody has worked so hard for it with that relentlessness that’s seen us unbeaten in every game. It’ll be great to get over the line, whether it’s this week or the next game.
“Winning titles at any level, in any league is excellent, but the way we’ve done it this year is incredible. If we can cross the line unbeaten it’ll be a great achievement for everyone.
“The manager is always telling us to be relentless in every game that we play. When we get across the line there’s no way we’re going to take our foot off the gas. We want to keep going and keep winning games. That’s the way it’s going to be.”
Celtic are currently 22 points clear of Aberdeen but the Glasgow side have a game in hand.
