Leicester's 4 goal comeback derails United

Manchester United have suffered a humiliating 5-3 defeat at Leicester City as they let a 3-1 lead slip and conceded 4 goals in 25 second half minutes.

United started in the perfect fashion, with goals from Van Persie – beautiful created by Radamel Falcao – and a stunning moment of magic from Angel Di Maria had them 2-0 up. But while we were still marvelling at the audacity, and improbability of Di Maria’s chip Leicester had pulled one back through Leonardo Ulloa on 187 minutes.

United controlled the game for the next 45 minutes, going 3-1 ahead through Ander Herrera on 57 minutes. A cheeky back heel enough to make the game look far beyond Leicester.

The revival started with a penalty, David Nugent scoring after Rafael clumsily threw Leicester a lifeline. That was followed two minutes later with a low drive from 10 yards out from Esteban Cambiasso.

Jamie Vardy got his first ever goal for Leicester when he stole away from the United defence on 79 minutes and slid the ball beyond David De Gea with minimal fuss. It set in motion in the final stage of United’s capitulation and the visitors exerted little to no influence over the final 10 minutes of an incredible half an hour of football.

Leicester’s Ritchie De Leat stole the ball from Juan Mata inside the United half and set Vardy away. Tyler Blackett lost composure and slid in from behind. HE saw red and Ulloa stepped up to make it 5.
