Isaiah Thomas became the second player to break the 50-point barrier in this year's NBA Playoffs, after the Boston Celtics defeated Washington Wizards 129-119 in overtime.
Thomas' 53-point haul is the most points scored by any player in this year's Playoffs, beating Russell Westbrook's 51-point performance against Houston in the opening round. The game was also the second match of the Playoffs to go to overtime, after Memphis' 110-108 win over San Antonio last month.
Boston now lead their Eastern Conference semi-finals 2-0, and have won six matches in a row. The Celtics never led at the end of any of the four quarters, and trailed by 13 after the opening period. A nine-point haul from Thomas in overtime, led the Celtics to the win.
Despite ending up on the losing side, John Wall scored 40 points for Washington. Portland's CJ McCollum (41 v Golden State) and Gordon Hayward (40 v LA Clippers) are the only players to score at least 40 points this season in the Playoffs and not be on the winning side.

In the Western Conference semi-finals, Golden State Warriors defeated Utah Jazz 106-94 in Oakland. Stephen Curry top-scored for the 2015 Champions, hitting 22 points in the win.
The Warriors led by 12 points at half-time, and held out in the final two quarters for the win. Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant (17 each) and Klay Thompson (15) both scored more points than Utah's top-scorer Rudy Gobert (13).
On Wednesday night, Cleveland and Houston take 1-0 leads into their respective series against Toronto and San Antonio.
