Ireland have finished top of Pool A in field hockey's World League Two.
Matthew Nelson's second quarter goal gave Craig Fulton's side a 1-0 win over Italy at Stormont.

The 25th minute effort was enough to give Ireland the points.

The triumph is Ireland's third win in the pool and they will face Poland in Thursday's quarter final which is scheduled for 4.45pm.
On Saturday, Ireland launched their pool campaign with a flourish.

Fulton's team defeated Ukraine 9-2 with John McKee scoring tries. The seven other goals were shared out among a host of players.
Ireland then followed up that victory with a match against Austria on Sunday with a 4-2 shootout win after a 1-1 draw.
