The English FA has charged Hull City for failing to control its players during Saturday's 2-0 defeat to Arsenal.
The charge relates to a second half incident, in which referee Mark Clattenburg issued a yellow card instead of a red to Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs, for a tackle on Hull's Lazar Markovic.
Markovic appeared to be through on goal at the time of the challenge and Hull players protested the decision.
A statement on the FA website reads:
"Hull City have been charged for failing to control their players. It is alleged that in or around the 55th minute of the game against Arsenal on Saturday (11 February 2017), the club failed to ensure that its players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion. The club have until 6pm on 17 February 2017 to respond to the charge."
Hull City was also on the wrong end of a controversial call Arsenal's first goal when the ball appeared to go into the net off the hand of Alexis Sanchez.
Clattenburg later apologised to the Hull squad for his decision to award the goal.
