The Ken Mc Grath All star clash between a Davy Fitzgerald managed Munster selection and a Brian Cody managed Leinster will take place on June 27th in Walsh Park. The money raised will go to the Ken Mc Grath rehabilitation fund and on the insistence of the man himself the Irish heart foundation. The former All star and Munster championship winner recently had a very serious heart operation and is currently recovering at home in Waterford.
Last night friends and colleagues including Tony Browne , John Mullane, Fergal Hartley and ex GAA president Nicky Brennan gathered to launch the All Star match and all paid tribute to the Deise icon but first I spoke to Kens father Pat- himself a GAA Hall of famer- and asked how his son is .
