The SSE Airtricity League pace-setters Cork City and Dundalk have both gotten off to flying starts, picking up wins from their opening two games of the season.
They're joined at the top of the table by high-flying Bray Wanderers on six points, with surprise package Drogheda United also in the mix.
At the foot of the table, Bohemians, Galway United and Sligo Rovers all go in search of their first points of the season.
Keith Long's side will welcome the Seagulls to Dalymount Park this weekend, while Galway United will make to trip to Finn Park to take on Finn Harps.
Last year's Premier Division champions Dundalk will take on last year's runaway First Division champions Limerick FC at Oriel Park.
Former Dundalk defender Andy Boyle this week made his debut for Preston North End during a 1-1 draw away to Derby County.
Sligo Rovers and St. Patrick's Athletic will both look for their first points of the season when the face off at The Showgrounds.
There's a top of the table clash in Cork City and Drogheda United at United Park. John Caulfield's side will look to maintain their impressive league performances and last season's FAI Cup champions are yet to concede a league goal this term.
Elsewhere, Stephen Bradley's Shamrock Rovers side will aim to build on last week's 2-1 win over Bohemians in the Dublin derby when they welcome Derry City to Tallaght Stadium. Bradley welcomed Robbie Keane to the club this week, as Ireland's record goalscorer trained with the club.
Speaking on this week's Off The Ball, Stuart Byrne admitted he was impressed by the early signs for Bray Wanderers at the start of the 2017 season.
