Golden State Warriors advance after Utah sweep in NBA Playoffs

Golden State Warriors became the second team to qualify for the Conference Finals in the NBA Playoffs after a series sweep against Utah Jazz.

The 2015 NBA Champions beat the Jazz 121-95 in Salt Lake City on Monday night. The win helped the side to a 4-0 series win, to remain unbeaten in the Playoffs.

Along with the Cleveland Cavaliers, the Warriors are the only team to reach the Conference Finals so far. Both teams have won their two Playoff series 4-0 and remain on course to meet in the NBA Finals for a third year in a row.

Four of the Warriors' starting five hit double figures, as Steph Curry top-scored with 30 points. Draymond Green recorded a triple-double in the hitting 17 points, making 10 rebounds and creating 11 assists.

Klay Thompson (21 points), Kevin Durant (18) and JaVale McGee (12) all reached double-figures too for the Warriors. Gordon Hayward top-scored for Utah with 25 points.

The Warriors will play either Houston Rockets or San Antonio Spurs in the Western Conference Finals. That tie is currently tied at 2-2 in the best-of-seven series. They play Game 5 on Tuesday evening in San Antonio.

With a maximum of 28 games needed to play to win the NBA Finals, the Warriors are making life easy for themselves winning their opening two series in the quickest amount of time. With eight games won, there are eight more to go if they wish to regain the title they won in 2015.
