Last week, Gary Woodland pulled out of the WGC - World Matchplay, midway through the group stages "due to a personal family matter".
The American golfer defeated Emiliano Grillo on the opening, but conceded his remaining two matches against Rory McIlroy and Soren Kjeldsen.
On Wednesday, Woodland revealed he pulled out of the tournament, due to his wife losing one of their unborn twins. In a statement released by the golfer, he confirmed he plans to play in The Masters next week.

"Gabby and I have since had to cope with the heartbreaking loss of one of the babies", Woodland revealed in a statement on Wednesday. "Our doctors will be closely monitoring the health of my wife and the other baby for the remainder of the pregnancy".
"We appreciate all of the love and support during the difficult time as we regroup as a family."
Woodland has previously played in The Masters on four occasions. He has made three cuts in the tournament. His best finish came in 2011, when he finished in a tie for 24th place, 12-shots behind the winner Charl Schwartzel.
The 32-year-old golfer last won on the PGA Tour in 2013 at the Reno-Tahoe Open. Since the start of 2016, he has had seven top-ten finishes.
