Former Sligo Rovers winger Pascal Millien will join fellow League of Ireland Premier Division side Finn Harps subject to being granted a work permit.
The Haiti international has been playing in the North American Soccer League with Fort Lauderdale Strikers.
Finn Harps manager Ollie Horgan confirmed the new signing and is hoping that the 30 year old's experience will be telling as the Donegal side look to remain in the top flight by the end of the season.
"He will give us more options which will be needed for a long, tough season. He’s very experienced player and a big plus for us is that he knows the League of Ireland scene well having played two seasons with Sligo Rovers where he won a Premier Division medal and an FAI Cup title," said Horgan.
"Pascal is an attacking midfielder who can score goals. He is good at linking up with front men so hopefully he can strike up a good understanding with our forwards."
Millien enjoyed success in the North-West with Sligo Rovers for the 2012 and 2013 seasons when the Bit o' Red were enjoying a peak.
During his two seasons at Sligo, Millien won the League of Ireland Premier Division in 2012 and the FAI Cup the following year.
