Wales and England played out a pulsating Six Nations encounter in Cardiff as the visitors won by 21-16 in a fantastic contest in the Welsh capital.
Wales opened the scoring through Leigh Halfpenny but England levelled soon after. The visitors then poured on the pressure and mounted a multi-phase attack which eventually lead to Ben Youngs sneaking over in the corner. Farrell missed the conversion to leave England 8-3 ahead.

Wales came straight back at England and slotted another penalty to bring the scores to 8-6.
Alun Wyn Jones then turned down the chance to kick at goal and elected an attacking scrum only for England's powerful pack to win a penalty as Wales collapsed.

Wales mounted another attack and off the back of scrum Liam Williams broke through the English defence to score under the posts. Halfpenny converted and Wales led 13-8, a lead they held onto until half time.
The tempo remained wild in the second half in what was a great advertisement for European rugby. The action was end-to-end and the tension built as the game reached its dramatic crescendo.

England struck first in the second half when Farrell landed a penalty to make it a two point game.
Halfpenny responded for Wales moments later, after James Haskell was pinged for infringing at a ruck, to take the scores out to 16-11.
Dan Biggar then intercepted as England pummelled the Welsh line as the home side looked to secure a famous win.
However it wasn't to be for the Welsh. Farrell knocked over another penalty to narrow the gap to two points before England's pressure eventually paid off and Elliott Daly went over in the corner. Farrell converted from the touchline to bring the score out to 21-16.
Wales mounted a late attack but the visitors held out to win their second match of this season's championship.
England entertain Italy at Twickenham in two weeks time while Wales head to Scotland.
