England's Six Nations match against Wales will take place on Saturday in Cardiff. Whether in his played under the roof in the Principality Stadium remains to be seen.
Wales can decide whether the roof remains open or closed during the November internationals, but for Six Nations matches, there must be consensus from both sides. If agreement cannot be reached, the roof remains open.
Since the stadium opened, there have been eight Six Nations games and two World Cup warm-up matches between Wales and England. Five had been played with the roof closed, with the other five played in the open air. The results are string. Wales have a 4-1 overall record indoors, while England have a 4-1 record outdoors.
England's head coach Eddie Jones has until Friday morning to make his decision, but in the buildup to the game, he revealed he wasn't bothered if the roof remained closed or not. Jones even joked he may flip a coin to decide the fate of the roof.
Wales are currently planning for the game, as if it were to be played under the roof. Saturday's weather forecast for Cardiff, hints at poor conditions and even snow showers.
"We are just waiting to see what they say. It's an unusual situation where the opposition decide, but that's the way it is", Wales assistant coach Shaun Edwards said on Wednesday.
The decision is in England's hands. Eddie Jones will continue to make Wales guess in the buildup to Saturday's game.
