World number one Dustin Johnson was victorious at the WGC World Matchplay on Sunday night, after defeating Spain's Jon Rahm in the final.
The US Open champion became the first player to win all four World Golf Championships after his 1up win over his Spanish opponent, at the Austin Country Club.
It was the second time, Johnson was brought to the 18th hole on Sunday. In the semi-final he had a 1up win over Hideto Tanihara, while Rahm defeated Haas, 3&2.
Johnson never trailed in the final, and ran out to a 5up lead after eight holes, as Rahm bogeyed three holes on the front nine.

The Spanish golfer won his first hole of the day on the ninth, and in the final holes, eventually cut the lead to one hole at the end of the 16th.
Despite pressure from Rahm, Johnson parred his final two holes, to win the World Matchplay for the first time in his career. He now has three wins from his last three starts, including a win at the WGC Mexico Championship.
The American now holds three of the four World Golf Championships, after winning last year's Bridgestone Invitational in Ohio. Only Tiger Woods has held three WGC titles at the same time. He did that in 2007 and 2008.
After his win, Johnson admitted he is looking forward to a return to The Masters. In the past two years, he has had two top-ten finishes at Augusta National.
"I really like that golf course. I really like going to Augusta. It's one of my favourite tournaments to play every year. I've actually played good there the last two years. I'm excited to go back when the game is in good form. I feel like everything is working pretty well."
Johnson's win cements his place as World number one, while Rahm's run to the final, sees him enter the World's top-20 for the first time.
