Kerry's David Moran isn't getting too carried away following yesterday's Division 1 league final victory over Dublin at Croke Park.
The Kingdom brought to an end Dublin's 36-game unbeaten run in league and championship with a narrow one-point victory in front of 53,480 supporters.
Victory over Dublin will go some way to putting their defeat in the semi-final of the All-Ireland series last year behind them, but Moran insists it won't fully compensate for matches they have lost in the past.
"Look, we needed the win in Croke Park, but is it going to make up for any Championship loss? No," he told Newstalk Sport's Oisin Langan.
"It's only league and I mean that in the best sense of the word.
"It's April and you won't be judged by what happened in April next November or December. No one is going to care what happened in April.
"It was a great start for us but now we've got to go and do well in the Munster Championship and try be back here at the end of the year victorious.
"It's great to get a victory and a national title. It's something we set out our stall at the start of the year to do. It's great we've achieved it."

Dublin almost rallied from five points down to snatch an unlikely draw against the Munster champions and looked to be in the ascendancy after Paul Mannion's second-half goal.
Dean Rock missed the chance to level the match in the final seconds, when his free rebounded off the post and back into play.
"There was a great pace to [the match]. It was almost like a championship game.
"As a young lad you want to grow up and play against Dublin in important games. Any time we play Dublin it's a fantastic game, be it below in Tralee or here.
"It was always going to be a humdinger and there was never going to be anything in it. A free off the post in the last minute shows there was nothing between the sides."
He added: "It's a stepping stone [...] but it's important to keep it in perspective as well. We're around long enough to know our season won't be defined today."
