UFC president Dana White says Conor McGregor is the only MMA fighter deserving of "money fights".
With the Irishman having by far the biggest profile as a fighter, White told Fox Sports that he has no time for other UFC fighters who look to negotiate big money fights.
"I’m getting tired of the term 'money fights,'" said White ahead of tonight's UFC209, which saw an interim lightweight title fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson called off when the former suffered "weight management medical issues".
The rematch bout between champion Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson for the UFC Welterweight title is still slated to go ahead at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena after the previous fight ended in a majority draw.
Meanwhile, on the subject of money fights, White continued: "'I want the money fights!' What are you all going to move down and fight Conor?
"Listen there's no bones about it - Conor is the guy. Conor brings in big gates, big pay-per-view numbers and everything else. Shut up if you don’t. If you’re not him, shut up."
Emphasising his point about UFC fighters not called Conor McGregor should desist from speaking on the issue of setting up lucrative fights, White added: "If you’re not that big pay-per-view star, shut up and fight."
