Ireland and Leinster player James Ryan appeared to be involved in a strange team selection situation today.
The underage prospect is returning from injury, and today's fixture between the Ireland U20's and the Munster Development side, presented a good opportunity for him to get some game time in.
Munster went on to defeat the Irish side 15-10 in Thomond Park.
Interestingly, the Leinster player was named to start for the Munster side, which sparked some confusion among rugby fans online.

Respected rugby journalist Murray Kinsella of The42, suspects that the switch could indicate that Ryan might travel with the Irish senior squad on their summer tour.

It could however, just be a case of one Irish province helping out another.
