"I sat on him in Colin's last week and I absolutely loved him," Power said. "I told Colin whatever he does this year will be a bonus.
"Full marks to Aidan Coleman as well. He looked after him at Cheltenham when his chance was gone. We had a fresh horse to come here. So thanks to him for that."
Might Bite again got the better of Whisper to lead home a Nicky Henderson one-two in the Betway Mildmay Novices' Chase.
The pair filled the same placings in the RSA Chase at Cheltenham.
Rather Be took the honours in the Grade Three Alder Hey Children's Charity Handicap Hurdle - the opening race of the day.
After unseating Martin Pipe in the Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham, the 10-to-1 shot bounced back to hand another victory to Henderson.
Trainer Aidan O'Brien has the top three rated horses of the nine entered for tomorrow's Ballysax Stakes at Leopardstown.
Capri, Douglas Macarthur and Yucatan will also represent the Ballydoyle stable.
