Ciara Mageean has gone through to the 1500 metres final at the European Indoor Championships in Belgrade.
The 24 year old from Portaferry, Co Down was fourth in her heat in a time of 4:12.81 seconds and has progressed as one of the three fastest losers.
Mageean was a semi finalist at the 2016 Olympics in Rio, having finished second in her preliminary heat last summer.

Brian Gregan has missed out on a place in the men's 400-metres final.
After finishing second in his preliminary round heat this morning, the Dublin born athlete finished sixth in his semi final in a time of 48.08 seconds.
Kerry O'Flaherty, Zak Curran, Ben Reynolds, Sinead Denny and Phil Healy all did not manage to progress in their respective events.
